This group was created as a place for Atheists, Agnostics, Freethinkers, Skeptics, and Humanists in the Charleston area to meet and socialize in a friendly, supportive environment. The purpose of this group is to help non-religious people create and develop a part of their social lives that is free of religious pressure, and to provide an outlet to discuss the non-religious aspects of our lives.

We are a community of science lovers who wish to endorse reason and free-thinking in the public square. We provide a forum for discussion, events for outreach, and a fun and convivial atmosphere for enjoying the company of like-minded skeptics. Our mission is to promote critical thinking, science and free inquiry as the best methods for evaluating all claims to truth.

This is a group for anyone interested in Emergent Christianity, Red Letter Christianity, the Christian Left, etc. Lets get together for community, discussion, and outreach. Open and friendly skeptics and agnostics are welcome.
