This is a group for people in Middle Tennessee, southern Kentucky, and northern Alabama who are interested in skeptical topics. Typical topics addressed by skepticism range from claims about UFOs, Bigfoot and other legendary creatures, faith healing and other unproven / unscientific health claims, religious "miracles", ESP, psychics, and similar topics. Secular Parenting is a group where non-religious parents and their kids can get together socially without all the stigma, judgement, and proselytizing we often have to deal with in typical southern family groups. Kids of all ages are welcome and encouraged to participate.
