The Montreal Skeptics Meetup - hosted by the new Centre for Inquiry Montreal (www.centerforinquiry.net/montreal) - is a forum for critical, scientific and skeptical inquiry, exploring a broad range of issues including paranormal claims, parapsychology, complementary and alternative medicine and fringe science claims.

We encourage you to enjoy the resources of CFI's Committee for Skeptical Inquiry (http://csicop.org/), with past and present members including Carl Sagan and Isaac Asimov.

We will experiment with a variety of meetup formats - topical discussions, informal social gatherings and the occasional educational presentation. We will affiliate ourselves with the http://www.drinkingskeptically.org and http://www.skeptic.org.uk/pub/ and networks, which are worldwide conglomerations of skeptic meetups!

Consider getting involved in the Centre for Inquiry's new Community of Montreal.
