 r of philosophy at California State University Bakersfield will make a pres
 entation on the philosohpy of science.  Dr. Gamboa received degrees from Cl
 arement McKenna College\, Universidad de Navarra\, University Colleg Cork\,
  and Claremont Graduate University.   His research is focused on the inters
 ection between thought\, language\, and reason. Areas of research interest 
 include epistemology\, philosophy of mind\, philosophy of science\, inducti
 ve logic and confirmation theory\, and naturalized ethics. He also does res
 earch in early modern philosophy\, particularly David Hume.\n\nFollowing Dr
 . Gamboa's presentation\, members will have an opportunity for discussion.\
