Bring a snack and join other readers on the second Wednesday of every month at 7 PM for CFI-West's Book Club for Skeptics. Visitors welcome! Heck, you don't even have to have read the book to join in the conversation!

October's selection: Trick or Treatment by Simon Singh and Edzard Ernst

We should be in the upstairs meeting room, but if not, there will be a sign when you come in the door from the parking lot to guide you.

    Okay, I'm bringing lime juice, tabasco sauce and olives. I hope it doesn't make sweet things taste bitter because I'm also bringing rice krispy treats.

    Don't forget, people. This book month's book club is also a flavor tripping party! We will be tasting the miracle fruits that change your taste buds so that bitter/sour things taste sweet! Bring stuff to try out. I'll bring the fruits and some Guinness, but perhaps some of you can volunteer to bring some other things.... lemons, brussel sprouts, tabasco sauce...
