Hi: Due to time constraints, I must reduce my role managing the Meetup.com group. I would like to throw it open to the group to decide what will happen next. Regardless of what happens, at least one person needs to volunteer to be 'the organizer' - other members can be appointed assistant organizers.

It looks like there's close to a consensus to shift to Facebook, so I have discontinued my subscription as organizer.

The group will become inactive sometime after Oct 26, probably around Nov 10th.

It can always be reactivated by anybody who's interested in taking over as organizer.
